Introduction to Forest Management

Presented by the Washington County Soil & Water Conservation District, Downeast Lakes Land Trust, Woodland Pulp LLC, GTB Forestry and the Maine Forst Service.  The presentation will include an introduction to forest biology and silviculture, as well as information about management and harvest strategies, boundary line maintenance and wood markets.  A panel of licensed foresters will present the information and offer suggestions and answers to your woodlot questions.
