Workshop: NPS Water Pollution Control Projects

The Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will hold a workshop for prospective grant applicants about the upcoming annual request for proposals (RFP) for nonpoint source water pollution control projects, developing proposals, and administering NPS grants, also known as "319 grants".

Eligible Applicants must implement projects called for in a Watershed-Based Plan (WBP) previously approved by DEP. A list of approved WPBs provided by DEP does not include any in Washington County. They do note however that $42,000 is available to help develop Watershed-Based Plans.

Workshop Dates:

Monday May 5 1-3PM, Eastern Maine Regional Office, Bangor

Wednesday May 7th 9:3AM to noon, Southern Maine Regional Office, Portland

Pre-Registration required by May 2nd

Provide the workshop date, DEP office that you plan to go to (Portland, Augusta, Bangor or Presque Isle) and your contact information.
