Code Enforcement Officers invited to Land Use and Zoning Basic Training Workshop

Land Use and Zoning Basic Training Workshop offered

March 25 & April 4

The Department of Economic and Community Development, Code Enforcement Officer Training and Certification program will sponsor a training workshop on Basic Land Use and Zoning. Code Enforcement Officers will earn six recertification credits in the area of Land Use. Individuals seeking certification will find the workshop and materials helpful in preparation for the Land Use and Zoning exam.

A variety of land use and zoning experts will be presenting these workshops. Issues covered include, but are not limited to: types of regulation, review and permitting, compliance and enforcement, comprehensive planning, various types of zoning, and floodplain management. DEP will present on Rules to Prevent the Contamination of Drinking Water Supplies - DEP Chapters 692 and 700.
